If you wish to travel to Ambergris Caye by boat, there are regular public water taxi trips from Belize City. From the International airport, you can catch a taxi directly to the water taxi terminals. The water taxi ride usually take about 1.5 - 2 hours and depart Belize City from either San Pedro Belize Express or Ocean Ferry Water Taxi.
